Replace BT router with vdsl router or use smart hub as router only and buy a WiFi router to get QOS

I need QOS to prioritise Teams calls as my nest cameras keep hogging the bandwidth.  Should I replace the BT router with a vdsl router or use smart hub as router only and buy a WiFi router to get QOS and daisy chain? Which routers are best for QOS? I would also like good WiFi coverage as have 3 storey town house.

If you have VDSL but not a G.Fast connection, then TP Link have a range of VDSL routers which have bandwidth controls. Prices start at about £35

I use this one myself, to allow background upload to OneDrive without interfering with other devices.

I use it with the Tenda Nova MW3 wireless mesh to give coverage inside and out.
