Replacement HH5 slower than original.

I've had I2 for 8 months downloading at 55mbs through a HH5 without a problem. Original router failed and was replaced by BT but the best thats achieved so far is 30mb after 2 weeks. I've got the stats here, I'm just looking for a quick assessment. Thanks.

Re: Replacement HH5 slower than original.

Hi chrisdean,

I'm sorry about the delay replying.  The Profile looks correct for Infinity 2 but the data rate is only at 32mb have you tried a reset of the Hub and connecting via ethernet to see if this makes any improvement? Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks

Neil

Re: Replacement HH5 slower than original.

Yes, I've played about with it a bit. Call centre suspect fault on their side of the router and have arranged for an engineers visit although I'm mindful of a recent post warning that an engineer might try a DLM reset for a quick repair rather than fixing the underlying fault.

Re: Replacement HH5 slower than original.

Mine, as of today, is doing the same.

Half the usual download speed, and 0.33mbps upload speed.

Infuriating.

Re: Replacement HH5 slower than original.

I had a replacement HH5 sent out. Told it was new but when I set it all up there were more problems with it and someone else's devices were already in the network frame. If it was sent in a replacement box I would ask them to send another one out but a new one this time. I have now cancelled BT as I have never been given so many excuses and told so many lies.

Re: Replacement HH5 slower than original.

Mine was sent in a recycling box designed to return the original as well.
