I would like to get the latency type changed on my connection from 'interleaved' back to 'fast', how do I go about doing this?
I have had no joy phoning/chatting with support as they don't seem to understand what it is that I'm requesting.
It depends on whether your line is stable enough. Interleaving introduces Forward Error Correction which will correct most line errors and reduce the chance of CRC (non-recoverable) errors, which will slow down your throughput and ping time.
The fact that the latency is interleaving, usually indicates it is needed for best performance.
Which BT Home hub do you have?
post the adsl stats from your router
Thanks for the reply Keith.
I noticed that recently my ping in online gaming has almost doubled (~80ms to servers in Dublin, rather than ~40ms that I had previously), so checked and my latency type had been changed to interleaved when previously it was set to fast. There have been no line issues that I have been aware of.
I have the Home Hub 4, below are more details if they are useful.

These are the only connection stats that I can find:

Hi 1f55,
Cheers for your posts. I can help change your latency if you send me in your details using the "Contact The Mods" link found in my profile.
Thanks,
