My phone advised me that my btinternet (yahoo) account password wasn't working. When I tried to retry it the website advised my account had been compromised. I went through some questions and it advised it would sent the reset to my btinternet email address (see the problem there?!?) I opted to answer the security question and have tried all possible scenarios regarding caps lock on, caps lock off, etc for my mother's maiden name and it won't work. So I can't reset the password. HELP!
Hi @sjross78 welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you can't access your btinternet email account. Is your email account linked to an active BT Broadband account or is it a Premium Mail account?

Hi @JohnC2 , thanks for replying. My email was linked to a BT broadband account many years ago but my BT account has not been active for years. I also don't have a premium mail account.

If you are not a BT Broadband customer or a BT Premium email customer and your email address is not linked to a current BT Broadband account there is a strong possibility that the email account has been deleted.
