Re: Reward card

Go to solution

Hi,

Got back in touch with B.T. with the determination needed to try and get answers I was passed from one dept to another and would add that I was prepared to sit on the phone all day if need be. I was promised that the issue would be solved in five days but that was the same promise given to me five days ago it was found that message went to the wrong Dept within BT. The £80.00reward card was not the only factor in my choice to choose BT but the speed of the broadband package and on a fixed priced term the £80.00 reward was the incentive which finally made me choose so yes in principle if I do not receive that agreed reward as far as I am concerned BT has not honoured their part of the deal and I will leave.

Re: Reward card

Hi @Kstallard and @BILL16WEST sorry that you have not been able to get your reward card. I'll send you a Private Message with details on how to contact the Mod team and we'll chase these up for you. We are very busy at the moment so it will take longer than usual for us to get back in touch.

cheers
John

Re: Reward card

Hi John,
Fully appreciate that BT staff are busy but in my mind one follows the other so to speak ie customer signs up to package waits 30 days then their reward card is shown in their account to claim. But please look into it the more the merrier as they say. KInd Regards.

Re: Reward card

Go to solution
This has also happened to me. I used the following link https://www.bt.com/broadband/deals/affiliate-offer/? which to me is the BT site and includes what I saw was a £100 reward me card for super fast fibre which I ordered and got activated yesterday. I went to claim my reward and it said I didn’t have any. The first girl I spoke to (not name any names) was rude and told me BT wouldn’t stand over it as it wasn’t their site (it starts with bt.com). The only deciding factor for me between sky and Bt for me was the reward me card of £100. The second guy I spoke to was more helpful and said he’s said it with the rewards team and I’ve also opened a complaint. I also got a discounted monthly price through that link so I can’t understand why the discounted price was accurate but apparently the reward card wasn’t?? I don’t see much progress being made unfortunately as I have read similar stories which have taken a month of constant back and forth before BT finally offered the reward me card that was included in the first place. Is there any way I can stream line this process?
