When I upgraded my broadband package to G.fast, the "free gift" was a Ring doorbell which has worked well so far, but has just developed a fault in that it only intermittently detects motion, never gives a notification of motion and fails to connect to the Chime which I purchased seperately. Normally I would take this up with the retailer as a warranty issue. However, as I did not, strictly speaking, purchase it and therefore have no recipt, does anyone know what the position is?
It would have been sent from the BT Shop, so you need to contact them, as they should have details of the order.

Thank you for that suggestion. After a trawl through my emails I managed to find a sales order number, so I have sent them an email with all the information and will wait to see what happens.
By way of update, I was pleased to get a very quick reply from BT Shop. They gave me a number to ring to check whether the problem could be corrected and, if it couldn't, there would be a return process, which all seemed very fair to me.
