Yeah, that's odd. The log entries do correlate with when it drops connection though.
OK, it's not the extension, same problem from the test socket.
I'm now connecting through my old BT Home Hub, and getting the same drop outs.
Speedtest while it's connected:
Ping: 18ms
Down: 15.8Mbps
Up: 0.97Mbps
(which is what I normally get, and am completely happy with).

Specifically, CRC events and HEC errors. Looks like I may have a line problem - it happens from the master socket with nothing else plugged in, and I've eliminated the router.
What's the best way to proceed with BT?
I would be more concerned with the -1.4db attenuation and the 8000db noise margin. I would go back to other router at least the stats looked ok

Still drops every ten minutes or so. It just dropped while I was writing this...
While it's connected, it's really quick. Then, blam, it's gone. I wonder if the wind is blowing something around.
Do I have to talk to the people in India? I really struggle with call centres - I have very bad hearing at the best of times, add in a call to the other side of the world, and it's not going to go well.
