I have just been upgraded to Firmware SG4B10002244 on my Smart Hub. Unfortunately it has enabled BT WiFi-X and BT WiFi-with-Fon.
I have tried to opt out of BT WiFi here: https://www.bt.com/appsconsumeraccount/secure/BTWifiRegistered.do?ServiceName=BTWIFI&Action=DOWNLOAD
But it fails with the message:
Any ideas? Or will I have to contact the dreaded 'Customer Services'?

Called the above number 0800 022 33 22. The guy was very helpful.
You need to log in here: https://www.bt.com/btfon
Using your btinternet.com email address. Click check status, the select opt out.
If like me you didn't know you had a btinternet.com email address, go to 'My BT', Manage My Extras, then BT Mail.
Now it is a waiting game to see if this has actually worked:
