SLOW Broadband please help??

Ok so just recently upgraded to option 3 broadband (was option 2), and the homehub 2. Been having really poor internet download speeds, and on speedtests struggling to get over 0.5/1.0meg download speed. And before you ask i have been connected for over 2 weeks, although the router is not showing that because i recently done a reset to see if it made any difference here are my router details speedtest results.

router may have been connected for 2 weeks but uptime is really what counts.  your connection is 8mb and looks ok.  did you run btspeedtester?

 

there also a lot of major outage problems affecting the whole country from time to time over the last few days

Have you had a read through the other threads about the slow internet speeds alot of us are experiencing?

 

You might find some useful tips in some of them, although there does seem to be a problem somewhere along the line. No pun intended.

sorry to ask but can you post the adsl stats from your router and run btspeedtester http://speedtester.bt.com and post the results so we can compare them to your previous posts.
