Hi
I have a 24 month BT mobile phone contract which ends in December. I have now terminated this contract (paying what I owe to BT up to December) and moved to another supplier.
This contract included a Samsung Galaxy S8 mobile phone. However, I have just noticed quite a lot of screen ghosting which doesn't look good on a white/light background.
As I have paid up until December and this is within the 24 month contract are BT liable to replace the screen? And if so, can I take it to a BT/EE shop for repair?
Thanks in advance
OLED burn in, this is what happens to OLED screens when you have the brightness up too high for too long. Normal wear and tear i am afraid.
Thanks for that MrBelter but because it is a 24 month contract isn't it under warranty?
No because it isn't a fault.
It isn't covered under warranty as it's normal wear and tear. As @MrBelter said this happens on oled screens when the brightness is too high for long periods which is why almost all phones have adaptive brightness on them.
