Setting up Gmail to read my BTinternet emails

Good Morning All,

I have been using Gmail as my email reader for different accounts for a couple of years with little trouble until the last week or so.

My settings are as follows:

SMTP: smtp.btinternet.com

Server: 465

Email Address: Correct@

Password: Correct and checked

Secure Connection: SSL

Unfortunately I keep gettong the rror checking mail for myemailaddress@btinternet.com. Message.

I have tried changing the Server to 587 and Port to TSL but to no avail.

Any suggestions folks

Those are the settings for outgoing mail rather than incoming. The server should be mail.btinternet.com in any case.

Incoming is also mail.btinternet.com, port 993 SSL
