Hi All.
I have replaced a failed BT router with a TP-Link W9980.
I am currently trying to set up a static ip with this router but BT will not provide information as it is not one of "their routers"
I have the static ip but i need the subnet mask and default gateway information.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
Also which DNS do i use?
Many thanks in advance.
Martin
Solved! Go to Solution.
Only BT Business offer static IP adresses. Residential accounts use dynamic IP addresses.
Thanks Guys.
I am installing it into a business.
I didn't know if it was a standard subnet or gateway.
BT have supplied the static ip which they pay for.
