Settings For Netgear Connection to ONT What do i enter in my netgear router

Is their any settings I need for my netgear to connect to the ont or should it just recognize that there is a connection or do i need to enter my bt username and password that I use for the web site somewhere in my router.

the username and password (if needed) are the same for ALL BT broadband packages

I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated

It doesn't matter if you are over wet string, the username and password are the same for the umpteenth time.
