new stats from test socket show a slight drop in speed and an increase in noise margin. hopefully the change to the test socket will help stabilise your line and then you can get noise margin reset to 6db with increase in connection speed but stable line first
Am I exceptional in getting these speeds?
I am just over a half a mile from my local exchange.
you connection speed is ok for your attenuation not exceptional - wish it was minethough
OK, so as requested, I have left my connection online and connected to the test socket since Friday as my connection was dropping out all the time.
After relativly good, but not good enough speeds all weekend, I have come home tonight to find my connection time at just 5 hours and my speed stats as shown below:
This has been going on for 2 months now since i signed up and frankly I'm getting mighty p!55ed with it all now.
Please help... Calls to BT have resulted in nothing but anger and frustration and wasting of my time. The assistance on this forum has already inspired more confidence than BT's "Customer Support"

if you are still conencted to the test socket with a new filter and quiet line test is ok then you need mod assistance as the connection is really low but so is your noise margin. have you tried a different router?
can take up to 3/5 working days for mods to contact you
