Signal Issues

Go to solution

I work from home and my infinity hub is in my office on the 2nd floor of my house. On the ground floor we struggle to get a signal at all. We did with broadband but now with infinity we cannot. Any ideas? I don't want to move my hub from its current location. On 2nd floor we get 37 download and 7 upload so happy with that. Thanks in advance.

Re: Signal Issues

I have also found that the WiFi signal from my HH3b to be lacking, I have my HH on the 1st floor and was getting a poor signal on the ground floor though the signal was OK on the 2nd floor.

On my old ISPs modem I had an Edimax Wirless 802.11n Access Point [EW-7416APN] due to the modem only havin 802.11g, I connected this AP to my HH and the signal on the 1st floor is now perfect.

I don't think the WiFi from the HH is good when the signal is require below the HH 😞

This might sound stupid but try lying the home hub face down.

As I said in my document, powerline adapters are a good solution to the problem.
