Re: Gold address

If its still showing as FTTP, and you have an order with BT, you will need to contact the FTTP team again, as the moderators cannot help with FTTP orders.

Re: Gold address

I dont have an order with them currently Keith as they cancelled it due to them letting me order it in the first place when they apparently couldnt offer it.

Re: Gold address

Try the FTTP team, as they should have some idea what is going on. As you have no FTTP ONT installed, then its going to have to be a two stage process.

Do you have any existing service with BT Retail at the moment, like a phone line?

Re: Gold address

Yes Keith. Phone and Broadband for 10 years. I updated my address through a moderator on here but I still arent able to see it when I search for my property on BT broadband availability on their site. Current on hold with FTTP phone number...28 mins and counting so far...

Not having an ONT fitted does not automatically make it a 2 stage install process as I'm sure @Starwire will confirm.

Fair enough.

Is there anything else @Turch  can do?

Re: Gold address

A quick update. Apparently the issue now is that there is an "address conflicting phone line" issue. Our Broadband is registered to our address but the phone line isnt. So apparently another request to sort that out has to go in. I'll be quite honest...I feel like I'm getting the runaround a bit. There doesnt seem to be anything I can personally do about it.

Re: Gold address

@Keith_Beddoe Keith, do you know if the dsl checker, using phone number alone, is accurate? As in a test on the line is actually done to see what broadband is available rather than just a generic postcode check?

@Turch I believe it's a Database check.

What happens if you use the Address Checker and use just your postcode and then manually select your address?
