I was having a problem with a site being blocked so I turned off the parental controls. However, I still am unable to get to the site and the message says that the site is blocked because the account has filters on. Is there an easy way to convince BT that I really don't have parental controls on the account (I've double-checked and parental controls are definitely disabled)? I've re-started the router and flushed the DNS cache but to no avail.
Unless you need them, try using the option to uninstall the parental controls, then repeat the DNS flushing again.
There is something wrong with the BT site/servers with this issue, been off and on for the past week, before had no issues at all.
Guys at customer service on the phone HAVE NO CLUE what I am talking about, useless!!!!
