Sky Sports None Event :/

I added Sky Sports Main Event HD to my subscription on 9th Feb but it wasn't activated until the 13th, so I missed the footy game I wanted to see. Not a great start. I only wanted a month of Sky Sports so I cancelled the subcription the other day expecting to get the rest of the month (T&C say there's a one month minimum term) but I've just gone to watch another game and it's already been cancelled!  Phoned BT and eventually got put through tech support who's only suggestion was to order it again as it's not on my account but I won't know if I've been charged for the full month until my next bill.  I'm not happy. Should have gone with NOW TV!

Re: Sky Sports None Event :/

BT seem to do this, why????? All TV providers usually stop the service at the end of "your month", BT stop as soon as you phone to cancel. OK you do get a part refund, but that's beside the point. The whole point of cancelling in advance is so you don't go into the "next month" by mistake.

Exactly, it's ridiculous. When exactly are you supposed to cancel to get a full month? 4 days in advance? 2 days?

Wrong forum, Sky Sports content is controlled by Sky, BT have the rights to show the content but have no say on what's broadcast.

Re: Sky Sports None Event :/

I much prefer it this way. I simply subscribe the day the Premier League starts and call up to cancel the day after the last match. It takes 15 minutes to arrive on my screen and vanishes 15 minutes after i cancel. i do that every year without hassle.

No month rollover where i’m paying for a month i don’t want. Baffled how people could want it any other way!?
