No mention of BT here http://www.a516digital.com/2017/07/sky-sports-18th-july-changes.html
On this page http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/59479/kw/sky BT are promising a channel which doesn't even exist (note they are promising a channel they are calling 'Extra').
Do you think they have got mixed up with BT Sports Extra channels...lol
Sky Sports xtra is an online channel only. Surely they will not put up with access to just one main channel, where is OFCOM to do the right thing...oh I forgot this is SKY we are talking about so they are not interested.....
Are we saying that Sky Sports 1 on BTTV will become Main Event and Sky Sports 2 on BTTV will actually show the Sky Online only channel Sky Xtra. What will this channel show when there isn't a big event clash on.
I think all Premier League matches will be on Sky Sports Main Event or whatever the other new channel will be called. Most football fans will be happy. Cricket fans should be OK as I would expect most ODIs and Test matches to be covered as Sky does not have much live sport during the day during the summer months.
No mention of BT here http://www.a516digital.com/2017/07/sky-sports-18th-july-changes.html and going by their wording in the article linked to earlier in this thread they are as clueless as ever. Everyone BUT BT seemed to know changes were afoot.
The problem is everybody else have wholesale deals with Sky for all its sports channels therefore they know exactly what they are getting (everything). BTTV is the only one where a wholesale deal was not forthcoming and therefore they had to settle for scraps (Sky sports 1&2 after a forced OFCOM ruling eventually after years of fighting).
That article has now been removed....maybe they did get BT Sports Extra channels mixed up...
