Since getting BT broadband zero connection on SkyQ mini and it’s next to my disk

can you get mini to connect to main SKYQ box

For about an hr soon as watch a recording it freezes and says no connection to main sky q box

have you changed the 5ghz network in your hub to ensure it does not use channel 36 as is used by SKYQ  go to hub manager the advanced settings then wireless and change channel

go to hub manager by entering  192.168.1.254 into browser bar then admin password and enter hub manager

It doesn’t matter that it is next to your disc unless you are going to use Ethernet to connect the main Sky Q box and the mini when using BT broadband. 

The mini isn’t trying to connect to your BT WiFi, it is trying to connect to a 5ghz network generated by the main Sky Q box. It will only connect wirelessly to a router if Sky is your ISP.

You either need to connect both boxes via Ethernet to your BT network and then turn the Sky Q WiFi off, or reduce potential interference by clearing BT off of channel 36 which the Sky Q mesh uses. If you are not going to use Ethernet I would move the disc away from the mini.
