Hello All,
Our line and broadband were slammed by BT with no warning and we lost both services. Our CP has reconnected the the line by doing something called an emergency restoration of service.
They are telling me that they have been unable to expedite the return of the broadband service because under Ofcom rulings it is classed as a migration.
The line and broadband are the main services into a nursing home. Can BT do this and make us wait 10 days for the reconnection of the broadband. Is our CP correct?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Providers don't slam lines, people do. Someone in the nursing home must have applied to BT for BB + phone on its no.
Didn't you ISP write to you to tell you that someone else had applied for your line & giving you 2 weeks to object? The should've done under the Ofcom rules they adhere to.
They didn't write to us to let us know and we are already pursuing them about this.
Can you tell me if it's true that we have to wait for 10 days to get out broadband back becaus eit's a migration?
