Ah ha, that's NOT the latest one;)
Have a look here, the newer one is at the top, the older ones are lower down - http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=28&system=4
you need to know if your vista is 32bit or 64bit
(my guess it's the first one)
that looks like same website as mine
I am really acting dull now. how can I tell what bit my vista is.
EDIT found it 32 bit before you answered imjolly thanks though
I'm OK with computers so long as everything is working.
go to my computer right click then properties should say 32 or 64 bit operating system
Hi John, imjolly and DS,
The only update I have is that I downloaded the new driver for the network card. I then turned off the computer for half an
hour, re-booted wirelessly it took just over 1 minute to boot up and connect so I am now, lets hope it continues.
Thank you all for your help. I really don't know which post to mark as solved so it will be pot luck.
Mark your one above, any future readers will more than likely read the whole thread anyway:)
Glad to hear it appears to be sorted
You know where we are if anything goes wrong;)
