Slow broadband connection

Connection down to 5.2MB "speed to hub" according to BT app

Tried line noise test - should there be ANY noise at all? I can hear a very low level white noise - does that mean a problem or not?

Re: Slow broadband connection

your hub stats show you are on fibre 1 with the max connection speed of 55/10mb

is the 5.2mb an actual download speed while downloading from a website?

run btspeedtester and post results  must be done with ethernet cable

Re: Slow broadband connection

BTW I have a fault raised on Monday morning. On "Track my fault" there is no info about any timeline - when should I expect some info about the timeline to deal with the fault?

Re: Slow broadband connection

if that was on wifi you need to run the test using link I provided but must be with ethernet connection not wireless

from your stats there is no fault as you have the maximum connection speed for your fibre 1 contract
