I was wondering if anyone can see anything wrong with my ADSL stats.
I havent experienced any disconnections but for the last few days my IP profile has remained on 0.75 Mb when I would expect it to be around the 4.5Mb range.
The connection time showing on the stats is due to my resetting the home hub.
I have done a quiet line test and cannot hear any noise on the line and I have not made any wiring or other alterations to my setup.
Thanks in advance,
ADSL line status Connection information Line state Connected Connection time 0 days, 3:24:20 Downstream 6,176 Kbps Upstream 448 Kbps ADSL settings VPI/VCI 0/38 Type PPPoA Modulation ITU-T G.992.1 Latency type Interleaved Noise margin (Down/Up) 8.4 dB / 18.0 dB Line attenuation (Down/Up) 43.0 dB / 21.5 dB Output power (Down/Up) 19.8 dBm / 12.3 dBm Loss of Framing (Local) 0 Loss of Signal (Local) 0 Loss of Power (Local) 0 FEC Errors (Down/Up) 7006 / 0 CRC Errors (Down/Up) 53 / N/A HEC Errors (Down/Up) N/A / 0 Error Seconds (Local) 42
stats look ok You need to reamin connected 24/7 for 3/5 days and your profile will correct itself automatically - resets are the worst thing you can do for your conenction
on current connection speed I would expect profile of 5000
