Slow internet speeds - can I dedicate more bandwidth to my PC?

On a BT Home Hub 5 - can I specifically dedicate more of the internet priority to my PC directly, so that when there are other users they suffer, rather than me having to suffer the slow speeds for some stupid reason?

Short answer is no.

You would need to buy a router that allows Quality of Service (QoS) so that you can do what you are asking.
