Which means my 200 quid payment has probably gone through about 15 times.

Connectivity here (Nottingham 0115) has been poor for the last couple of days ... some sites work fine and display at the usual speed (Infinity2) but other do not display at with my browser just sitting at "Contacting ..." ... amusingly this includes the BT Service Status page ...

Annoyingly things that don't currently work include connectivity into my office via VPN ... which is problematic.

Given that it affects some sites but not others which smacks to me of a routing issue rather than a problem with my line.

Also having issues (since yesterday it seems) . Continually having to retry when loading websites (even this forum)... Have tried using Google DNS etc but to no success.

Haha, i just spoke to an indian call centre supervisor, and made him explicitly aware of the problems around the UK, he did say they have been having calls all day about this same problem but hadn't been told of any issues via openreach...so yeh communication is key BT..please try it out.
