Slow since the 26th Dec

Hello,

Our broadband keep dropping connection every 28 or 29 min since Boxing Day. We Are located in the Newby Bridge, Cumbria area which has had alot of rainfall. Alot of people in the area who normally have decent speeds have said there connetion keeps dropping out also.

We dont have a master socket as we have the old Star system but nothing has changed to the connections and an unable to run the BT speedtest due to needing to download the updated flash (would take months at the moment).

This keeps happening all the time. I spoke to someone in a call centre who is sending a engineer out (on Friday) but I believe the problem is at the exchange as its effecting other people. The person at the call center did a line test and said everything was fine but would said out a new router, currently have a home hub 4.

Please could you see if there is anything you can do.

All seems fine at the exchange according the the checks.

if you already have an engineer booked then see if that solves your problem and if not post back and see if anyone can help including mods but see if engineer fixes problem
