Thanks for the info Harrjoa. So just to clarify, if after 10 days and my speed still hasn't increased, I need to contact BT to do a manual SNR reset for my line? Also, I have no issues with my internet connection, its just the download speed and waiting 10 mins for a youtube video to load....
If your speed has not not improved after 10days then post back here and we will put you in touch with the forum moderators (BT Specialists UK based) who will get the SNR reset done for you

Right, I have waited the 10 days and my broadband is still slow, the fastest download speed i can get is 30-40 kbps which is as slow as AOL my previous provider. The only reason i moved from AOL was because of these bells and whistles ads on the telly saying "get the fastest broadband speed with bt", sorry but i'm not getting it.
Anyway, would resettng my line or whatever was mentioned to me before on here fix this frustrating problem?
