Have had ongoing problems with broadband over the years. In the last 6 months however BT have provided an excellent service and I had a reliable service albeit not superfast due to where I live. At the end of February though the exchange was "upgraded" and there's been nothing but trouble since. Back up and running now, with a BT Home hub 3, internet is getting impossible to work with. Can't get a BT speedtest result, gets as far as "sending results to the server" then just gives error messages, "Http status 500" "the server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request"
What does it all mean?

Have you tried connecting to the test socket at the rear of the master socket
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Still not able to compete a BT speedtest, error the same
Quiet line etc. all done as a matter of course. Check out my history, have ongoing performance issues! all sorted until this last "upgrade"
ANy ideas what the error on the speedest means?
Tried it in Safari - got a result!! Why would it stop working in IE???
