Slow speed at night

Hi I joined bt on the 21st jan 09 all ok for a few days.

My speed is running at 6 meg during the day but from about five o'clock at night the speed drops to about 1-2 meg and then goes back to the Meg about O'clock.

Mi on option 3

not running an extension cable

connected to the master socket

I plate fitted

any help would be grateful as the speed issue is starting to get very annoying now.

Re: Slow speed at night

You can expect a reduction in throughput during the peak hours, it's to be expected.

Although to try and spot anything more sinister you need to post more information, like your hub stats and the results of a BT tester line test, preferably for both scenarios.
