Thanks.

Hi @Ribblelancs Thanks.
The hub shows an update today, 29th May.
Hub reset occurred at around 6-00pm, so I checked the hub manager.
Here are the latest versions shown:- hub v0.13.03.0221-BT.
gui 1.55 12-12-2018.
I’m not sure of the changes involved. There’s still no option to split 2.4/5 GHz, though. I will ask for more information, e.g. changelogs, if this is not forthcoming.

Thanks @Ribblelancs
My hub also got updated to the latest firmware as noted by @Ribblelancs , my Complete Wifi Discs also got an update to Firmware Version: 0.13.03.02251
I’ve just installed a new Smart Hub 2 after upgrading from the old Hub 5
It has v0.15.00.06145-BT firmware installed.
Is this the latest?
However looking at its logs over the past few days I see several entries that read:-
Hub is waiting to apply new firmware
Image validation failure code 9800, validation failure and corruption
Do I have the latest firmware? Why the download failure messages?
My smart hub 2 connected to gfast says the firmware is v0.17.01.12301-BT and was updated on 4-Mar-2020.
I really would like to get the option to split 2.4/5 Ghz wireless bands back as on the hub 6 I was able to do this. Now I have to run two routers to achieve the same thing. 😞
I “Off and On’ed” my Smart Hub 2 yesterday after observing it failing its software download at the same time every 2 days. After it powered up I noticed a date in “Firmware updated” under technical log > Information, where it previously read unknown. Although at that point the actual “Firmware version” was still at v0.15.
Today I am delighted to report that overnight the Hub updated to a new Firmware version of v0.17.01.12301-BT.
It appears that yesterday’s off/on of power did the trick
I can now rest my OCD. 🙂
I have this same issue too.
