Hi all,
I was wondering if there would be any way to bond two of the interfaces on the Smart Hub 2? Or will I have to get a managed switch to get this capability. I like the smart hub with the wireless but I want to get my HP micro server up and running with a few VMs with potential to have high throughput. And always happier to have the redundancy there too.
Does anyone know if this is at all possible?
Thanks in advance,

No, you would have to use a managed switch like this.
NETGEAR GS108E-300UKS ProSAFE 8 Port Web Managed (Plus) Gigabit Ethernet Switch
There is also a 5 port version.
You can then setup port based VLANS to group together your interfaces.
Thanks for that. Really think they should start including that as a feature of their Hubs. Obviously hidden from standard users. I'll look in to that.
Again, thanks

As the home hub is simply a consumer grade device, advanced features would be pointless. I am not sure even if the BT Business hub is any better.
Home hubs are cheap ISP devices intended for the mass market, why would an ISP spend money on something of use to 0.001% of the customer base?
