Just a short "follow-up" to my post of Yesterday & the "confusion" into which Devices connect to which Available Bands 2.4 or 5.0 Ghz....
I had a Long Conversation with a Lovely young lady in BT Dublin this morning ... After checking Everything she could think of she too was "At a Loss" to explain WHY "Far Away Devices" INSIST on connecting to the 5.0 Band & NOT the 2.4 ..Whilst "Near" devices INSIST on connecting to the 2.4 Band ...
She informed me she would contact "Tech Services" (Whoever they may be) & get them to run some test on a Hub 2 they have in their office & she would contact me later today ...
She has just rang me back .... Upshot is ... Their "near" devices connect to the 5.0 Band & their "far Devices" connect to the 2.4 Band (Correctly as they should ) .....
So They are sending me a NEW HUB & DISC TOMORROW ..
I will update tomorrow on this Situation ... [Metaphorically holds Breath] ....
