Thanks John,

I'm using it on home broadband (actually John Lewis from Plusnet but BT hardware works much better than their routers!) as the business one lets you change the DNS servers.

My Smart Hub 6 Type B says it updated firmware last night to

v0.09.05.11160-BT

This is exactly the same firmware as was already installed back in June.

My question is - Why say it’s updated when really is is still the same? Any ideas?

There was no disconnection either, hub has been up about 8 days now.

Question answered! 

Hub rebooted last night and updated the firmware to v0.09.06.05093-BT.

Just hope it hasn’t screwed anything up now.
