Smart Hub

So I just sold my Asus Ac5300 router with open reach modem as BT have given me a smart hub 6 for Fred and I figured it has 7 antennas so I sold my £399 router for 200 and boy what a mistake. Every 7 days or so it just refuses to work on WiFi and Ethernet. The SSID is still being broadcast but nothing will connect to it and even the Ethernet won't work at this point. Its happened today and the light was solid blue indicating it should be working fine. This is literally hapoebinf every 7 days and I don't know if its faulty or a software bug or what? Thanks

Re: Smart Hub

Note, these are seven INTERNAL aerials, nowhere near as efficient as external aerials. The Asus Ac5300 with all those external aerials could never be beaten.

External aerials have a greater ERP (Effective Radiated Power).

Sorry you have made a bad decision Smiley Sad

Re: Smart Hub

There are cheaper VDSL alternatives with external aerials.
