Is there anything in this earlier topic that might help? Granted it is over a year old but may be useful.

You've probably sorted this now but it's a mode issue, switch off the 5Ghz and then change from mode 1 to mode 3, save the changes and go back to your lamp app and go through the pair procedure. Once all done you then need to change the router back to both frequencies and go to mode 1 . All done
Hi @Andyleic,
Thank you for posting.
That's a great post with some useful information.
Thanks,

Hey @Andyleic . I suspect if I did this it could log out all other devices and require you to re-enter the WIFI password. Is this the case, and if so is there a way to circumvent this. I live in a house with many other people, and don't wish to inconvenient anyone.
as long as you don't change the hub SSID or the wifi password then your devices should connect automatically when you restore the wireless connection
Hi @Andyleic
I've tried what you said, I switched off my 5ghz & changed it to mode 3 but my smart bulb still won't connect to my bt hub 2. All I get is connection failed. Is there anything else I should be doing?
I use a repurposed router as an alternative wireless point. It’s more reliable than the SH2 and doesn’t suffer from the connection issues.
