Smart tv and bt box installation.

I have just bought and installed a smart tv and ser it up with it's own adsl connection.  I now want to install my bt box. Do I need a separate adsl connection or is there a way to run both off a single cable?  I.E. plug adsl to bt box and connect hdmi to the tv.  Does this make sense?

I assume by ADSL connection you mean Ethernet connection. You will need a separate Ethernet lead from your hub to the BT TV box and then an HDMI cable from the BT TV box to the television

If you are wanting the Smart TV and the BT box to both have an Internet connection you will need to buy an Ethernet Switch. You would run an Ethernet cable from the Smarthub to the Ethernet switch then plug two Ethernet cables into the the switch with one going to the  TV and the other going to the BT Box.

You can do it either way. Either 2 leads from hub, 1 to TV and 1 to TV box or 1 lead from hub to Ethernet switch and then 1 lead to TV and 1 lead to TV box.
