I have SH2 and 3 black discs. No matter where these are placed I am constantly losing network connection. I have a large house with "proper" walls and do not get coverage everywhere. That wouldn't be an issue if I could keep important devices connected but I can't. I reported the fault which I cancelled because all appeared to be working but it wasn't. Reluctant for an engineer to come out to experience similar ie connection drops after he leaves.
I am quite techy and doubt this will ever work successfully so I need to go back to powerline. How do I get rid of this hardware that I am paying extra for? It is truly not fit for purpose. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Have you established that it is the wireless signal that is dropping out or could it be that your actual broadband signal to your Smarthub is dropping. If it is the later it would follow that the wireless signal from the discs would also drop out and it would tend to point to a line fault.
I doubt very much you are paying extra for the discs. You may be paying extra for a plus product which will supply up to 3 discs free but has other benefits.
But your product (fibre connection) is perfect. Its your freebie that you seem to be having a problem with.
The discs are not freebies. As far as I can recall they are leased as part of the package. If you stop the package you have to return the discs.
Pardon? A freebie doesn't cost money.
Thanks for moving thread
