That's the "green light of death" - they do that. Search for other threads on this forum. Time for another Smart Hub.
Not a great start to your service with BT. If you Hub is displaying a constant green light and if you have tried resetting it, then I think as @Ectophile has said you might need a new hub. If you contact the Chat team www.bt.com/chat they'll be able to arrange this for you.
