Soccer am

I have just moved to BT from Sky but have added the sky sports package to my contract. Last week I was able to watch soccer am on Saturday morning but this morning there is the ashes on main event and the extra channel is showing as off air. Am I not able to watch or record soccer am this morning??

The answer is I'm afraid @Prw , as Main Event is just that then Soccer AM would only be on there if there's nothing else that Sky want to push. All Sky Sports Channels will be made available on the BT platform at some point, however the first planned introduction date passed a month ago, so if it's still going to happen we may be waiting for some months yet.

@Andy005  is correct. It's also worth mentioning the Extra channel is only for EPL football when there's a clash with something else on Main Event. The last such clash was a shambles.

You haven't bought a package as such, just one full time channel and a 'spare' barely used channel, with Sky obviously deciding what content goes on Main Event, and which sometimes can change at very short notice.

All the sports are coming but as @Andy005  says no one knows when yet, the last moderator posting here on the matter stated "hopefully by the end of this year".

Were you mis-sold Sky Sports by a rep on the phone who didn't explain what you were getting? I know if you order online it explicitly states "Sky Sports Main Event" and informs you of exactly what you are purchasing.

I used the live chat facility and was offered a deal for tv, broadband and phone with BT. When I got that price I then asked them to add sky sports which I presumed was all the sky sports. I did not know that the sky sports on BT was basically one sky sports channel.

Understood @Prw  I suppose they thought you had already been online looking at the various options. Good thing is Sky Sports is only on a monthly basis so can be cancelled anytime if you don't need it.
