We wanted to let you know that a YouView software update will be rolled out across all boxes over the next couple of week. This will happen automatically over night as long as your box isn’t switched off.

There is currently a delay with the roll-out of the YouView update.
During our trial with the updated version, we discovered a bug in the new software which only affects BT Vision customers. We have now identified a fix, but it will be a couple of weeks before we can implement it. We’re sorry you have to wait a bit longer. We will let you know when the roll out will begin as soon as we have a fix date.
Just to confirm the YouView firmware update is now available for BT customers. We have fixed the issue we spotted and sorry again for the delay.
You can update your box manually as usual in Settings > Device Management > Software Update > Get update
Alternatively your box will receive the update automatically in the early hours of tomorrow morning if it’s in standby.
