All of a sudden in middle of nowhere hubs tarts going solid orange
had new hub sent, same issue
then whilst on call to BT it started to FLASH PURPLE
engineer Is coming to look at the cabinet i believe
any suggestions on what could be the issue?
wires haven’t moved, made sure everything plugged in, devices are picking up the Wi-fi itself but no connection, did a hub reset too

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.
I have digital voice which works off the internet itself
bad decision I know

Nothing you can do then, apart from wait for Openreach.
What does your master phone socket look like, as number 7 is known to give problems?

No 4, old style
But I’ve lived here over 15 years never had issues with this master socket
Provided that is the only socket, and you have no other extensions, then the problem is likely to be external. That is more likely if your line comes in overhead.
I have assumed this is a "fibre" broadband connection.
Yes, the WiFi signal is just between your device and the hub. Devices can still connect to each other without a broadband connection. E.g you can still use a WiFi printer.
Wireless signal will still be there, even if there is no connectivity.
Unfortunately, with Digital Voice there is no voltage on the line, and this makes the connection more likely to fail due to high resistance on the copper joints. In my personal opinion, its asking for trouble. It does make sense on FTTP, as there is no other option. connections.
If you only have that socket, then there is no more testing you can do, as the fault is going to be external, so there should be no charge.
