@gill68 - where are you marking your emails as spam? On BT Email via a browser or using an email client such as Windows Live Mail etc?
Marking as spam using the browser version of BT email works for me.
Highlight the email you wish to denote as spam
Click on "More" on the mail menu
Select "Block sender and mark as spam"
That ought to stop any emails from that source from arriving on your computer.
Many items normally go into spam hence the advice given by companies ' to check spam if item not received' as I cannot see any items that BT have deemed to be spam, how do I know what BT have chosen? Before the awful day when we lost Yahoo I used to check my spam each date and if there was something that should not be there I could retrieve it and then I would delete the rest. You have not addressed the problem of MORE - MARK AS SPAM which is not functioning at all. If BT is hiding all spam what is the point of having a folder marked "spam" if it has no function? Thankfully I now have 4 gmail accounts which are excellent and the only reason we are with BT is because of BT sport.

OK, if you feel that way, then simply change your email account in your MyBT to your favourite gmail account. Sorted.
Sadly you don't understand the problem. I had hoped that someone from BT would look into the it instead I have just had some very sarcastic comments . I don't wan t any more responses as they don't serve any useful purpose.
This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts.
