Just had a e mail with above address, sent by a person, name now deleted in case it's a real person

The maul quotes a Invoice number & a green box with the word "Message"

I do not know a person of this name

But the mail went into my Inbox not spam.

Is it spam?

Has anyone had this type of message?

Just delete it, do not click on any links or boxes.

It is possibly a phishing email or spam. In any event if you have no idea who it is from DO NOT click on any links or attachments. Just delete it.

Purely spam, by scammers/criminils using that address.

I suggest the email address and name is deleted from this thread, or the thread removed altogether. It's likely it's a real person.

It may not have been spam. It is possible that the sender has a contact with a similar email address to you and they just typed it wrong.

As regards how spammers get email addresses you will never kow for sure but have a look at this.

The most common way is harvesting a friend or colleague’s address book via a virus or phishing email. Of course an on-line or service may have had a data breach but unfortunately you will never know.

Thanks, I'm using Thunderbird as a e mail cleint & up to now all spam has gone into my "Bulk Mail" Folder but this one, have had it twice from two differant names goes direct to my "In Box".

I'm marking as "Junk" but don't know how to get it into the "Bulk Mauil" folder
