I've checked on one with the delightful title "Husband Offers His Wife To African Tribesmen To Find Elongation Secret" and it does indeed redirect to "gotartyir".

Was worried it was just me. Been receiving spam emails most of the day so obviously a problem with the spam filter. Hope they get it sorted very soon.

Me too. Was just getting a very horrible sinking feeling. Have had this email address for over 13 years with no problems.

Yes I have received loads today from around 6pm onwards. Our family have 4 accounts & they have all received the same spam emails. What is happening BT?

On the basis that I have had a good night’s sleep whereas spammers don’t sleep, BT seem to have restored order as the deluge of spam mail has stopped overnight,. Well done BT but.........why did it happen in the first place?

Good morning everyone,

I am sorry for the increase in spam messages finding their way to your inbox yesterday.  We had an issue with our antispam filter.

Work was carried out immediately to address this, and at 23.00 last night, the issue was fixed.

Thanks BT. Like everything, you only really appreciate something when it's no longer there. Because I never see it I'd forgotten how bad spam really is, so thanks to the staff for fixing it.
