Re: Speed Dropped From the 70's to 40ish

i think that anyone who wishes to leave now should be able to do so without charge as the fools have made a mockery of everyone, they could have just paid but no all they care about is money and this has proved it, theyre more bothered about money than valued customers and that is discusting and outright wrong.

Re: Speed Dropped From the 70's to 40ish

just spoke a bt technical fault expert...for a change it was someone from the uk

but he gave me the bt party line that i am 60-70% range of acceptable speed, he didnt even bother trying to help.

how do i ask a mod on here to help me? i'm really thinking of moving over to sky, making all these phonecalls is doing my head in, reminds me of the old days of bt, which eventually forced me to go over to 02..

its like these people we get put through dont know anything, like they are just reading off a paper, its so patronizing, although i understand their postion, they are simply doing their job.

my ip profile is still stuck on 47.43

Download speed achieved during the test was - 46.56 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds 60 Mbps-47.43 Mbps .
 Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 47.43 Mbps

Re: Speed Dropped From the 70's to 40ish

Hopefully a Mod will post an invite or at least give some advice.

The "expert" is totally incorrect about the 60-70% range - that is b*ll*cks. (apologies for the language)

Re: Speed Dropped From the 70's to 40ish

I'd keep an eye on it if I were you. If there's a fault somewhere it will likely manifest itself again soon enough.

I'm currently experiencing problems with speed drops, in the first instance a BT engineer came and did a reset. Was fine for a few days then speeds dropped again.
