Speed Jump

Hi all I've come home from work to find that my Infinity is playing up webpages take a good 30sec 1min load up nothing has changed in my setup. I've also looked on Speedtest.net and my pings have gone up from 9-10ms to around 32ms. But the strange thing is my upload speed has also gone up has this happend to anybody else apart from me today lol

your noise margin is very high should be around 6 ish, have you noticed your noise margin previously to this post ?

As he's at max sync speed, the extra margin can't be used. It will make the connection more stable though 🙂

so his noise margin will always be 15 is that what you mean, i know nothing so i am trying to learn 🙂

Maybe not always, but certainly for this sync.

The lower the margin, the more speed you get but only up to the cap.

You can't go faster than the cap so the excess margin can't be used to increase the speed.

I couldn't tell you if the noise margin has changed or not I've not looked at the stats for months. But I had a drop out just over 2 days ago but haven't see any difference etc... until tonight so I don't know what is going on but If I remember right around xmas time I did have a look at the stats and the noise margin was around the 12.6/7 mark but I've always had 74/17 from day one last November.
