Speed drop in Worcester area

Hi folks, just wondering if I'm alone in experiencing a sudden lowering of speed in the Worcrster city centre area?

My Draytek 2750 has been connected at ~64000kbps for as long as I can remember and more recently around ~71000kbps (possibly as a consequence of installing FW 1.5.2 and seeing far fewer line drops) but as of 3am Saturday it took a nosedive whereby it lost connection at the ~71000kbps it was at and now refuses to go any higher than ~54000kbps.  Seems too steep a change to be anything but an issue somewhere.

Interested to hear from anyone else in my area as well as those who may have a view as to why this has suddenly happened and whar I can do about it.

Thanks,

overbyrn

Re: Speed drop in Worcester area

It sounds like a possible random noise issue that has caused the DLM to reduce your IP profile in an attempt to stabilise your line all you can now do is wait until the DLM see your line as stable again and starts to increase your IP profile again this can take several weeks
