Speed dropped, Reset DSLAM?

Hi all,

So i ordered BT TV and i used a draytek 130 modem and nighthawk router.

However as we all know getting IPTV to work with any third party router can be very tricky.

So i spend the best part of 4 days unplugging, resetting, changing settings and trying again and again with no luck.

So im back the the Smart Hub:(.

But now my speed has dropped by 20MB.

BT can you reset my line/profile/DSLAM?? Please...

Re: Speed dropped, Reset DSLAM?

Can't be done remotely.

You just need to wait and providing your line is stable, the speed will return in the coming weeks.

Re: Speed dropped, Reset DSLAM?

BT like every other provider are unable to reset the DLM on fibre services
It can only be done by an Openreach engineer visit if a line fault is found and fixed all you can do is wait for the DLM to reset automatically this can take several weeks

Spending the best part of 4 days resetting etc has probably "tricked" DLM into thinking there is a problem with your line.

As stated leave it alone and your speed should return.
