About 2 months ago I upgraded from ADSLMax to ADSL2+ and have since added BT Vision. I have had the home hub for around 14 months if that makes any difference.
I've noticed when trying to stream video that I get a lot of buffering. This happens when using the computer (wired connection) or through the BT vision box, to the point where it is impossible to stream videos.
If I restart the router, the connection is great for around half an hour then drops.
I've done the test from http://www.speedtester.bt.com/ and have posted that and the router details below.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Download speedachieved during the test was - 5.85 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 4 Mbps-21 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 18.65 Mbps
your noise margin is low and on some lines this causes a problem and like your there are a lot of crc/hec errors. this will restrict your download speed check here first this was done by keith to help
the unfortunate thing is it will only last for a short period as it will drop again when the exchange sees your stable connection. the longer term solution is to get mods to set your noise margin to 6db but can try that later - just see how it goes
